Bandwidth should be OK - you can use a self-powered hub if you want additional USB gadgets.

Assuming it'll only be a plex client, pretty much any Android tv box should do the trick. I'm loving my Mi Box and have heard good things about the MyGica tooExpanding collection of devices at home.
Current setup for lounge is an old ultrabook setup to run Kodi and Plex kept up to date via SABNZBD and sonarr. Works well for SA Netflix (Roku) and Showmax (Ultrabook). Everything else via Plex on the Roku. Not really thinking about changing much here as it works and everyong including the offspring can use it.
Have a TV in the bedroom though that is unused since DSTV was cancelled, thinking is that its time to set something up before winter come properly.
As such I'm looking at getting an Android box as an all in one for the setup. Basically it will need to run Netflix, Plex, Kodi and possibly Showmax.
Suggestions?
Ok, pretty much broken it down to a choice between the Minix Neo U1 and a Mygica ATV582.
Any experience on the mygica? On thee Neo U1 the dstv now app doesn't work and the supersport one freezes every couple of minutes when streaming..
Dstv now works on the Mygica 582 (not 585) and Supersport also works but for video highlights only. Older versions of both apps are required.Any experience on the mygica?

Sorry correction DSTV Now app is now working perfectly on the U1. Supersport app still a bit rubbish but you don't need it if you have the DSTV one.
my word. i know im very ;late for this bus but exodus is like damn!! anybody using a decent vpn? details please?
if my damn adsl was faster i would switch to streaming but alas telkom thinks its fine to chug along at less than 4 even. but yay for the people with 100 or even 10. ****ers![]()
Exodus is great but I'm not sure where it will go from here as the original delevoper retired and someone else has taken over but I haven't seen any updates so far. There is also Zen, SALTS and Specto that can and should be used as an alternative in certain cases if you can't find HD sources on Exodus.
Kodi all the way!!! Running it on a Nvidia Shield and I am a happy chappy. Just waiting on my fibre to be installed and I'll be in heaven![]()

Not a vpn, but Real Debrid is great for Exodus and SALTS, even Phoenix is hopping on the band-wagon with it.
I suggest that you find out what a real-debrid service is before commenting. :erm:... and there we have it... Click-2-Pay...
