The Droid TV thread

I cleared my cache on my Mibox app for DSTV Now and then it worked 100% fine again, Chrome browsing on the Mibox doesnt for some reason.

I also deleted the Supersport app as the DSTV Now latest APK is so much better for sports streaming IMO
I can't use the DStv now app, because my phone is rooted. Any app or something I can use to hide root?

I cleared cache.
Asked me to log in...

Then giving me "video authorisation error"

Clearing the cache not working for me. Sigh

Nothing working my side. Chrome gives an error on now.dstv.com and says I don't have a premium subscription (which I do) on supersport.com, Android dstv now app says "video playback error" and supersport app says no internet connection, DSTV now app on Mi box won't even open.

On my phone and mi box it's say no internet connection.

Had to uninstall and reinstall dstv now. Working now.

Just installed terrarium tv...
Wow!!!!! 1 million times better then kodi.

Any recommendations on the best budget media player available? Not looking for anything fancy just the latest version of android and should be able to stream DSTV now. TIA

Anybody having issues with DSTV Now at present? Getting a registration error 500.. Was working fine then just won't connect, and says no internet connection
Jip had the same problem. After alot of resetting and rebooting and trying everything I went to my connect id details. Noticed one of my smartcards was not linked. Linked it and everything was sorted. Logged in with no problem.

Hope this helps. And I have two boxes and only the bedroom one had this issue.

I have (had) some Mygica TV boxes and see some here punt them. Although they work fine most of the time (the remote being the worst part of it) I am not impressed with the sound. Although I can not find reference to the audio output, it seems to be stuck in 2.0. I see some of the Mi boxes specify Dolby DTS.

Is the sound stream dependent or do some units have lower quality audio output. Who gets 5.1 or better via their droid boxes? I am in the market for a new unit, so would like a solid recommendation.
