anyone going to the states soon ... like today? can you please buy me a collectors ed of this game, i wil pay you R450 if i can get the game tomorrow... thank you very much
 
I had no luck so i had to order via cdromshop.com About R650 For Collectors and 3 Day Shipping...
 
Well its still better than getting it almost 4 weeks after the international release :(

I imagine would be cheaper if you got normal edition.

Some people on forums got it yesterday....So far on high end machines it is running fine...Some people with Radeons are having Artifact issues though :( (Not overclocked)

Others with 9800XT's and 9550's are running sweet too on Medium.

For High end users, someone made a fraps video of the Advanced Graphics Options

6800 GT Ultra/7800's Etc were getting 60fps

cool thanks Borgir ... saw that many people are running the game maxed out ... noticed the washed out graphics for large distances though, is this nvidia specific? ... cause it does really look bad
 
Not heard of that, sure not Max Far distance?

I am really chuffed how many people on lower end machines running it great on medium.
Should have no problems on mine on yours then for Max

Today is when the place i ordered from get theres...I hope my copy gets shipped today :(

Great place where i got my World of Warcraft and Everquest 2.

Canadian and via DHL it will take 2/3 Business days.
So hopefully if shipped today i will have it Thurs/Fri

Really sad that we have to resort to paying R600+ for a game that our backwater country wants to release 3 weeks after the rest of the world.
Makes me so #$%^ing pissed off :mad:
 
you can get the Collectors Edition of Oblivion for R359 at BT Games... besides, whats 3 weeks delay in SA since EVERYTHING gets delayed anyways? :p

Seems a bit bugged with ATI cards at moment...no doubt a patch will come soon....Typical :p
 
weird!!!!!!!!!! the X360 runs with an ATI card! how can that be bugged! :o
 
Seems the X1900 having issues with artifacting, and FX Nvidia cards are not firing it up at all
 
Maybe worth a try. Never used em before.
I only stuck to cdrom due to previous orders and great support.
