You will always get idiots who will vote for the guy promising the most free stuff. Still they are sitting at less than 3% of the vote so I am not worried.
 
How is it that News24 has more up to date results than the IEC?
For example:
News 24 - ANC 35 928 votes - 56.31% & DA 19 407 votes - 30.41%
IEC - ANC 28,080 votes - 59.73% & DA 12,641 votes - 26.89%

Spotted the same thing. Their website is hanging a lot and breaking out

Well I see the IEC results are the same as ENCA's results and they state on their page "All results are 15 minutes delayed", so maybe the IEC's results are also 15 mins delayed?

Maybe both of them are getting their results from News24 :D

Only the smallest vds are counted so far. We have around 6000 ballots at my vd and we are still on the first count
 
Looks like ANC will win this one again, and in eight of the nine provinces as well.

Why are so many people so ****ing stupid?

People really do get the government they deserve...

News24 has 30-second refresh intervals.
 
DA leading Gauteng 43% to 41%. I will be over the moon if that is the final result...
 
The AIC are scoring big time. Many ANC voters accidentally voting for them
 
And thats a wrap from me. Voting counting done and dusted. 6000 or so ballots from my VD, 95% DA.

People spoil their votes in the dumbest ways.

One person ticked every box except the ANC and wrote "BECAUSE NKANDLA!!!" /facepalm .... yeah you showed them....
Another person wrote "The kingdom of God is coming! Repent! Praise the Lord!". /sigh
