It's disheartening to say the least. It seems the ANC can literally do anything they want. Zuma himself can even go on TV / Rdio and tell everyone they're stupid to vote ANC and they will still win.

DA has lost ground in the national election - they fell from 28 to 27%.

If I add up all the smaller parties except EFF to the DA total its 42.09%

Still quite early days to be honest only 20% of potential votes counted...

Yes counting is still going on and its early. However I do have a little hope for GP. it seems the DA are doing quite well here.

Well the DA are on 32% at the moment. Seems okay for now and only 9% of the votes counted for the province. I'd say that's doing well. Better than any other province besides WC.

Agreed. Having said that, Helen just stated on Twitter that they start off good and normally go down. Maybe that pattern will happen again. I'll check the results again in an hour.
