I have just completed recording the video. I now need to figure out how to make the video smaller before uploading it to Youtube. It's 300meg at the moment. Anyone have a solution for the best way to convert this avi file?

You can use "Super" video converter.
It's not the cleanest interface in the world but it does the job.
Save it to MP4

If a taxi does not have a permit it means that its not a taxi. Without a permit it cannot apply for exemption. Without exemption SANRAL will charge it like any other vehicle.

If they do not, based on the fact that its a minibus, then they are discriminating against non minibus drivers. They cannot then turn around and say 'but its a taxi' as according to law it ain't a taxi as it has no valid permit and as such should be charged accordingly just like any other road user.

If not then I can also just apply for a taxi permit and let it hang in the process for the next two years and then demand not to pay e-toll. Where in the law does it state that my taxi needs to be a mini-bus?

I personally believe guvvament and SANRAL don't have the nutsack to confront the taxi associations. They will let the thugs do as they please and in turn target and fleece the law-abiding citizens.

It's a rather un-intuitive interface. Finally found the download button that they hid away as well. :D

Not the greatest marketing minds, these guys are. Busy downloading but it's gonna take an hour from their servers. Surely there's a simple method? I got iSkySoft but that leaves a watermark on the video...

Yeah that iskyware piece of schit installed adware even though I opted out of all of them during the install. I refuse to support a company or product that does that...:mad:
 
If anyone has any video editing skills and feels like helping out by please let me know. We can include screenshots of the information pack and charts...
 
Just got home. Walked through two mall parking lots in sandton and Norwood. I would say a total of 5% of the cars I saw have etags. Interesting times ahead.
 
Down with the tolls and the cANCer!!! I will never get an E-tag and will not pay a cent towards this corrupt cash cow!!! GFU u POS!!!
