The Handmaid's Tale

Decent season finale! I’ll confess to shedding a tear or 6....

Was it though? Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I don't understand why June keeps getting away with terrorism against Gilead when they were so powerful in the first seasons. Like yeah it's good to see them getting some payback finally but it seems overdone and not in keeping with the novel.

Well, like all good revolutionaries...

Some characters didn't make it past S01E01 Unless it's GoT you probably want your main protagonists to make it through the first few seasons.

I can't see her getting away with much in season 4. If she survives the shooting she's either on the wall or off to the colonies.

But yeah, the tone was generally upbeat, as it has been the last couple of episodes, which is welcome given the misery of the preceding 30 episodes. :crying:

Yeah my thoughts.
With June going all John Wick, writers will be hard pressed to find a way to keep her alive for another season.
Lydia will ensure she and her crew gets the noose.

On the other hand Gilead has lost its senior leadership, so probably explains why it's easier this time around.

I feel they've milked the original material enough and it's time to end.
