The Highest Usage On MWEB 4mbps Uncapped?

Mweb what a FAT joke been fighting with them for 2months now over connection issues!! Still not working!

Might I suggest you post in the Mweb subscribers feedback thread? One of their reps could try and help you out.

Don't you also use the internet sometimes?? What account are you gunna get now that you've downloaded enough, new stuff comes out all the time that you might want too?
 
I'm sure people have hit over 1Tb, so we're not close yet.

I usually do around 100Gb or less, but going to be more this month. :D
 
well the first 3 months I was with mweb uncapped standard I used between 370 and 480 GB .... and on my seed-box I use 1TB + a month sitting @ 850gb ATM

What a bloody hypocrite??? whether you do 64 GB on 384 or you do 640GB on a 4Mb line....is the freaking same thing....IDIOT!!!

People forget too easily that even if you do 30 Gb on 384 line it equates to 300GB if you compare to 4Mb!!!! you my friend are also an abuser then...
 
I would love to get a 4 Meg line, I can't imagine I would download hundreds of gigs though, just go after hard to find documentaries and whatnot and the odd bit of music.

I'm not like many on here, who download the same huge Linux distro, over and over again. :p
 
Got 10 mb line and been useing capped accounts but downloads @ 32 gig so far, do about 100 gig pm.
 
76 gigs as of today on a 4meg uncapped shaped account. I'd like to stay with Mweb for as long as possible, had absolutely no hassles with sign up and I'm very happy with my connection. I do admit that since my dloads are coming in faster I've run out of stuff to dload.

How do you come up with this logic?
That's like saying I drive a Tazz and do 50km/h but if I was to buy a Ferrari I would do 250km/h. It's dependent on the person.

If I was to get 4mb/10mb uncapped, I wouldn't suddenly jump from 40gb to 400gb. I'd do the same amount.

Don't make stupid posts showing your ignorance and stereotypical mindset without giving anything thought, please.

Compare it rather to a Tazz doing 140kmh +, same as someone in a more expensive car. Both drivers are being pr**** but for the one it's easier to do.

The fact is whereas a 4 meg account can easily cover 60 gigs a month, it is a 4 meg account while for a 384k account to do the same , it would have a much higher max usage at a time which would detrimentally impact other 384k users.

Depends with me, Currently on 70GB on 4 mbit uncapped

I use use 60GB - 150GB, really depends, last 3 months I have been using only like 70GB
 
MY first three months was about 333GB and then it went down to about 200GB per month. I download a lot of series for friends and a lot of extreme porn for myself.
 
I find this excessive downloading quite interesting, the way I look at it, is that the average price of a 1Tb HDD is about R1,000 give or take. So that means that if these mega-downloaders are not constantly deleting their downloads to make space for new downloads, downloading 400Gb a month would cost you around R400 per month in storage space, isn't it?

Of course I am sure many of these mega-downloaders are IT employees having access to large servers at work where their downloads could be stored. For me as a home user, I am not sure whether I want to buy a new 1Tb drive every 2 months just to store thousands of movies etc.

Just my 2 cents....

2TB USB drives are affordable, and take up less shelf space than 2x1TB drives :) And there should be 3TB drives on the market here soon.
