About to start tiling my bathroom and replacing my ceiling, starting tomorrow.
So, I need to make sure that I don't forget anything as I won't have access to the ceiling in the bathroom, ever again.

I have a waterproof plug in my bathroom as well and for some reason, my appliances need to be halfway in, or skew, for it to power up, like my hair machine. I'll take a look at the tomorrow.

In order to use any smart switches like Sonoff TX series, I need the Earth, Live and Neutral wire coming down to my switch right?

live and earth should generally be there by default, you want to make sure a neutral is also.

Have any of you got these bulbs installed?
How much electric does this chow per hour?
Thinking of installing it in almost every room.

Anyone used Hydrofire before?

Thinking of using them - just undecided on what to get...

Bar is officially gone, looks like it was never there, now to earn the house.

Their prices look good.

I need to factor in an extra 10k for installation.

I have one of those, and five of the standard white ones - and then five of the Philips, have't really noticed a consumption increase.

I wouldn't buy the coloured ones though - don't really see the use.

Yea I need a double flue as it's a double volume space where the heater is going

Ah, mine is out the wall, and up - 4m roof.

One thing I don't like about these damn websites - is the fireplaces look so different in person, much smaller than their pictures.

Agree. We got a box the same size as advertised dimensions and put it where the fireplace was going. Can make it bigger or smaller from there.

I've used them. I was very happy.
But I recommended them to a friend who finished his installation last week - he wasn't as happy (mainly around service times but that could have been a lockdown related issue)

What is the room size and does it heat the room adequately?
Room is around 60sqm.
I picked my oven based on the rated kW output for that room size.
Heats more than adequately - if I maintain a roaring fire then I need to open interior doors to let some of the heat out

I'm trying to heat probably about 140m2 (multiple rooms) - with many windows and sliding doors - so it might be an expensive exercise|....
