I got quotes two months ago and it was R10k. Included a concrete slab for the tank to stand level. For those that have done it: 2500L Water tank and pump system tied into municipal water line. What's the costs ?

I just did a 5000l tank with pump but also tied into my borehole and some other minor work, came to R22k.For those that have done it: 2500L Water tank and pump system tied into municipal water line. What's the costs ?
"steel"are you using ones with plastic or steel?
Thanks. Just got a quote R10900. I've got the cement slab allready.I got quotes two months ago and it was R10k. Included a concrete slab for the tank to stand level.
That sounds expensive.I just did a 5000l tank with pump but also tied into my borehole and some other minor work, came to R22k.
Tank was R4600 and pump R3700. Issue was that the installation was 100m+ away from my existing position so had to redo all the piping and supply power. Took 4 days just to do the trenching with all the rocks that needed to be removed. That sounds expensive.
To my knowledge you're not allowed to go into the municipal line. You need to run a separate line for it. Have done it before also around the 10k mark depending on distances pipe needs to rUn.For those that have done it: 2500L Water tank and pump system tied into municipal water line. What's the costs ?
The quote I got also included a valve that stopped the water from returning to the municipal supply. But yeah they do make a large profit. Jojo at Build It is R1999.Thanks. Just got a quote R10900. I've got the cement slab allready.
Quick google, Tank 2900, pump 3430. R6330. Obvious need some fittings. So.. R7K. These guys make some profit ??

Another question if anyone knows - can you have two fences on one wall? e.g. two neighbours each have their own installation on a shared wall? (obviously not touching)
Technically you could, but why?Another question if anyone knows - can you have two fences on one wall? e.g. two neighbours each have their own installation on a shared wall? (obviously not touching)

Control your own security and destiny.Technically you could, but why?
Though most places don't have an electric fence between neighbours? Outside perimeter wall yes, but inside wall between neighbours you hardly ever see.You don't have control over when your neighbours fence is on and off - so its a security risk to your property.
I thought I read that back to back installs of fences weren't legal - but seems I'm wrong.

I've got my fence running quite a bit down the neighbours wall on either side, just the back garden doesn't have a fence facing the neighbours cause it's not near an easily breached perimeter, unless they've hoped across three other people's gardens.Depends on the setup though, would be pointless if your perimeter has a fence and all the criminal does it just over your neighbours wall and into your property.
