yeah i get but i dont know if it is worth the effort tbh
It's actually a really quick, inexpensive and simple job, if you know what you doing.
If you don't, you'll have to get someone who does! (Don't try teach yourself plasterwork/rhinolite without plenty practice)

That's not bad at all hey, and what about skirting/cornice... do they remove that and put it back on again?
Cornice gets destroyed.

Skirting has to be removed and reinstalled.

That was not incl in the quote.

I fitted pvc into a small outside room by us. Was surprised how decent it came out, and easy it was to do. Must still do cornices, which I suspect I'm going to screw up royally.
Buy a mitre saw. Doing them by hand is easy if you take your time to start with and learn.

Make sure that your mitre box is big enough for your cornice to fit inside. And always make sure that your cornice sits perfectly vertically in the mitre box when you cut. If you lean it against the mitre box and the angle is out, your corners will never meet properly. I clamped a piece of 16mm melamine inside the mitre box for the cornice to stand up against to keep the angle straight.

Good luck

You get a weed killer that you spray on your entire lawn, it makes the grass yellow for a while but does not kill it, only the weeds.

Do you know the name? My grass was perfect in winter. As soon as the sun hit, the weeds started.

Wazzup. Need to change the inlet valve on my top flush

How do I get that white plastic thing off? I can’t even get it turning. Almost nothing to grip on. Except some flimsy fins that are now gone.

Please help. It’s an easy swap I thought. The top one is loose but that middle white thing is not budging.

That looks like it is a an adapter of sorts, in which case the two pipes connecting to it would screwed in such that, it would tighten and push onto one pipe, making it impossible to unscrew..

You may need to consider a hacksaw through the middle and new piping..

That sounds terrible. Why would they even? Supposed to be simple. In my mind at least.

take a stanley knife and cut down the side of it, until it is through, do not cut deep. repeat on the opposite side to cut it into 2 halfs if it will not peel once one side has been done.

AND go buy yourself a leather oil filter spanner, they are like 50 bucks and immensely useful.

This is looking likely. Got it turning but it’s turning everything above that blue valve at the bottom.
