Yes it is, but who in their right mind would do it? Tile cement has a limited lifespan, especially if some areas are exposed to heating from incoming solar radiation. It's just a matter of time before the tiles come loose. Remove the old stuff first. Is it possible to tile over existing tiles without removing the old tiles?

Spray that along the rail
How? It's been years and my doors are still goodit will if anything just make the problem worse
It attracts dust. Depending on the type of dust, it will eventually form a grinding paste (the stuff that you grind car valves in their seats with). This will wear everything, wheels, bearings, rails and everything will need replacement or repair. It is better to go with a graphite powder, lithium grease, or silicon / teflon based stuff like this: https://leroymerlin.co.za/garage-door-lubricant-blaster-9-3oz-81425695Why? Maybe you have a minimal dust environment. How? It's been years and my doors are still good
so how about some more opinions, get rid of a thatch against the house and replace it with a "carport" type structure? or keep the thatch and make it nice again?
I am looking for a garden/tool shed thats about 1m (W) x 2m (H) x 60cm (D).
Makro and Builders warehouse only seem to sell Keter products which are pretty expensive. Does anyone know where to get a decent quality wooden (weatherproof) wendy hut / garden shed of approximately this size and how much do these sell for?
May not really be home improvement but thought would ask anyway - anyone ever DIY a kids swing/slide set? Have a patch in my garden in mind for a swing/slide set and wondering where best spot would be to buy all the lumber and brackets etc.
Go with recycled plastic - easier to mantain and more solid IMO. Unique Timbers a good place to start. Many places can make it to your dimensions.I am looking for a garden/tool shed thats about 1m (W) x 2m (H) x 60cm (D).

Would probably be cheaper to buy but need something custom made for the space I have available. I would probably buy the items over a month or 2 and I won't mind if I can find some 2nd hand timber poles (if anything available in Pta area) and treat them. Will also give my wife some breathing space as well! With all the brackets, threaded rods, sundries equipment etc probably cheaper to buy one. If you up for the challenge, timber & galvanised brackets/sundries etc at your local timber place, if in JHB try Nortern Pole or SAW timber. Many fiberglass places keep slides. Check Simplet Fiberglass. For the swings get Saligna planks from your local DIY and either poly braided rope (10/12mm) or 8mm galvanised chain. Make sure you use a good preservative on the timber (not varnish).
Did you ever post a photo of the space?
There are many options that you could choose, but it depends on the space and the look you're ultimately wanting to achieve....
Can't these sparkies be reported so that they lose their license or something??On the topic of useless COC's, demolitions progressed into he thatch roof, and we found a variety of disasters, most crucially ALL the electrical wiring for lights was running through the roof, squeezed between the grass, some with electrical tape covering connection points. Sparky signed off the COC signed off earlier this year.
