I would say yes personally as well, but I'm slightly biased because I've only ever really worked with the Centurion products, and their after sales support is top notch...

Also if you have an automatic gate at home, then it makes sense to match the manufacturer between the 2 motors as it means a single remote.

personally I actually hate the nova remotes I slapped sherlo receivers in everything and have a single 6 button remote for everything

I'm a lazy twat mostly, and the nova remotes work just fine for me...

I want simplicity and not having to spend additional cash for no real reason

Well then I think your decision is made for you... ET Motor for your garage door then, just make sure they can share the same remote (assuming you have a multi-button remote, or can get one)

In all honesty though, your first step should be a floor plan with the sewerage lines and drainage to the exterior of the house marked out so you can see what you can and can't move easily.

That bathroom is screaming out for a proper efficient layout if you ask me.

My only suggestion for the wall tile is ensure that the pattern is seamless and that your tiler matches it up properly in the corners, otherwise you end up hating it

So the fittings look decent, I do approve even though I'm not really a fan of the shower column concept, just feels too limiting to me and I also feel it will date horribly quickly.

I would potentially go for a more square bath to be honest.

And me, I don't likey the tiles at all, but then I like a more simplistic type of look from my tiles tbh. I'm also no longer a fan of floor to ceiling tiles, again it limits the ability to "change" the rooms style up easily.

**EDIT** as an additional thing to the shower column, having the controls directly under the flow of water is also something that I just feel is old-fashioned now, we can do better and I intend to when I redo my bathrooms over the next short while.

Be wary of that approach tbh, I generally find the very expensive properties have really shyte taste...

I would trawl something like Houzz to find ideas that work for you or styles, and then try find the things in this country that work in a similar fashion/look...

I hear you about difficulty in changing look if all tile but it looks great IMO, especially if there is no pattern to break it. We have a half tile and then a wooden fascia kind of thing and then wall only and we changed wall color once and it does look different but not sure yet.

One can get bored with anything really.

I approve of that general style yeah.. I don't like their tiles specifically but thats an "each to their own" thing...

But yup, no wall tiles (except for in the shower) and you can alter the look in the future with a lick of paint.

I think it’s a very versatile look - just make sure your waterproofing is top notch

I personally don't like the shower bases myself but they do serve a purpose... I would tend towards finding a nice floor tile and then getting a company to make a moaiac out of it if you want to keep a unified look.

Dont go with the tray! Rather build it up! Its a disaster of damp ready to happen.
