Thanks for the feedback Manny, much appreciated. Yeah agree that prep work is more important than the actual paintingI hate Dulux. The paint is OK, but they no longer have their own outlets, so your next best bet in Chamberlains.
There is a Dulux in 4Ways but they know less about paint than I do.
I also do not like textured paints like Weathergaurd and Micatex (rough paint)
They attact dirt and the spreading rate is poor.
However they are great haircrack killers, due to being thick, and they do have good stretchability and UV protection.
I only buy Textured paints if the walls were already painted in textured paint.
Remember, a painting job is usually a preparation job.
I usually spend 60% of the time on site doing prep and 40% painting.
I'm doing a painting job in Saddlebrook, massive double storey house, we've been there for 21 days. Haven't started painting yet.
