Sport isn't a waste of time - those guys are rich, have huge houses, and marry hot women (some even go off to the side and get a mistress too)

Watching Sport is a waste of time.

Tbh you posting all this nonsense seem like a extreme waste of time to me. Don’t you have anything more exciting to do? Btw, I have a hot wife, nice car and awesome job. I play action cricket, I scuba dive and I've done some great trips into africa.

Guess what. I have a blue shirt and I watch rugby on Saterday afternoons and this Saterday I'm going to Loftus with my blue flag and shirt. What are you going to do? Play chess? GLHF.

this guy died at 85, and was Pro chess player.
this guy died at 85, and watched a lot of Rugby on TV.

...which sounds better.

Not one of them… I prefer the guy who played chess and watched rugby on a Saturday afternoon.

now I ask you - what the hell, can you learn from watch rugby every weekend?
Different strokes for different folks. Some people get excitement, inspiration, team spirit, Gees from watching rugby or any other sport for that matter. It's called entertainment. Some get it from watching chick flicks. Others get it from posting nonsense on internet forums.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I just want to state I am so tired of rugby it's not even funny. Every Saturday and now in the mornings as well, I am ready to bite my wrists off. :D

PS - How's this for blonde. My b/f got a ticket for the game this past weekend. When he got home on Thursday he washed the clothes. Said ticket was in his pocket. He only realized this on Friday morning. Ticket was very clean, but unusable.

Remember people, it's not gay to play COD with your friends, but it's starts to get gay the moment you start staring at your friend who is playing COD, and hugging your other male friends after each point he scores.

Also, if he is wearing shorty-shorts and cries like a girl at the game's opening song, with his hand on his chest, it just makes it that more gay.

Really? I think it's rather homo that a bunch of guys get together and play COD.

Rofl :D

Well he only does headshots so he can't be gay.

Ps keeper how is playing COD improving your life?

Ok, let me explain here - I don't really have a problem with people who PLAY rugby (So that other guy up there scuba diving and playing cricket, etc, etc, etc - good for you man, you sound like my dad)

I just don't get how you can watch somebody do it ? THAT'S IT.

Painting a Picture - cool. not cool watching someone paint.
Playing a game - nice, half of mybb do that almost on a daily basis, probably. watching someone play, hmm....nah..
Eating - lekka. watching someone eat....err..?
Climbing a mountain/Scuba diving/Flying a plane/etc/etc. great! an achievement!
Playing a sport - Nice, exciting, and healthy. watching sport? why? who gives a ****? Who cares if we lost cricket with 32 overs or whatever?

But you are not really killing anything but moving your finger. Seriously you can not tell the people that watch rugby they are losers but you sit and watch a little animated man on a screen and excersize your finger...... At least watching rugby is teaching them social and culinary skills (yes braaiing!). I ask again what does COD teach you?

Must say you sound like you are moving worlds compared to them ;)

So the thread is game, playing COD is gay, but watching men do stuff is considered NOT gay ?

Im sure there are people posting here defending rugby, that probably had posters of rugby players stuck on their walls, along with blue bull flags and other crap.

hmmmm...if i can spend 3 hours playing COD vs 3 hours of rugby...
Where do we LAN?

What i meant that, it has now become gay that i dont like rugby...i thought that sucking another guy off makes you gay, or is that only if your eyes meet?

Rugby is not all it's cracked up to be.
There is very little skill and tactics involved.

It doesn't teach anything - guys are competitive and gaming provides a way to compete.

Watching rugby, and having a team that you support does not mean you are competing. So what if your team won, YOU didn't do anything, you are just wearing a blue vodacom T-shirt and have bolls attached to your bakkie.

Gaming and sport is the same thing, but with sport you are never PART of it.

I just don't get how you can be happy when you aren't even playing - You just watched somebody else win, even if your own team won ?

I'm just not fulfilled by watching somebody else do something.

If you like watching Racing on TV, why not build up a car and race yourself?

You like golf? Why not take up golf then?

Like watching SBK? Get a Bike then!

STOP WATCHING AND START DOING

Glad you think so.
If you suck at it and if you don't have the skill to be really good at it, it doesn't mean that there is little skill or tactics involved. Rugby is all about tactics!

ROFL then we come back to the why do you watch movie and/or TV question?

Also I do cricket (not rugby atm). But I like watching it as it show cases skills.

You never watch anything barring your screen with COD on it?

The fact that you keep on comparing extremes nullifies your entire argument.

OK, is this simple enough?

I don't want to stare at men for 3 hours every weekend, whatever the fsck they are doing! :D
