Keeper, are you a bitter old lady in her 70's by any chance?
Keeper said:Sport isn't a waste of time - those guys are rich, have huge houses, and marry hot women (some even go off to the side and get a mistress too)
Watching Sport is a waste of time.

this guy died at 85, and watched a lot of Rugby on TV.
...which sounds better.
Different strokes for different folks. Some people get excitement, inspiration, team spirit, Gees from watching rugby or any other sport for that matter. It's called entertainment. Some get it from watching chick flicks. Others get it from posting nonsense on internet forums.Keeper said:now I ask you - what the hell, can you learn from watch rugby every weekend?
Remember people, it's not gay to play COD with your friends, but it's starts to get gay the moment you start staring at your friend who is playing COD, and hugging your other male friends after each point he scores.
Also, if he is wearing shorty-shorts and cries like a girl at the game's opening song, with his hand on his chest, it just makes it that more gay.
Really? I think it's rather homo that a bunch of guys get together and play COD.
Can you say "homophobe"
Rofl
Well he only does headshots so he can't be gay.
Ps keeper how is playing COD improving your life?
Ok, let me explain here - I don't really have a problem with people who PLAY rugby (So that other guy up there scuba diving and playing cricket, etc, etc, etc - good for you man, you sound like my dad)
I just don't get how you can watch somebody do it ?THAT'S IT.
But you are not really killing anything but moving your finger. Seriously you can not tell the people that watch rugby they are losers but you sit and watch a little animated man on a screen and excersize your finger...... At least watching rugby is teaching them social and culinary skills (yes braaiing!). I ask again what does COD teach you?
Glad you think so.Rugby is not all it's cracked up to be.
There is very little skill and tactics involved.
It doesn't teach anything - guys are competitive and gaming provides a way to compete.
Watching rugby, and having a team that you support does not mean you are competing. So what if your team won, YOU didn't do anything, you are just wearing a blue vodacom T-shirt and have bolls attached to your bakkie.
Gaming and sport is the same thing, but with sport you are never PART of it.
I just don't get how you can be happy when you aren't even playing - You just watched somebody else win, even if your own team won ?
I'm just not fulfilled by watching somebody else do something.
If you like watching Racing on TV, why not build up a car and race yourself?
You like golf? Why not take up golf then?
Like watching SBK? Get a Bike then!
STOP WATCHING AND START DOING
The fact that you keep on comparing extremes nullifies your entire argument.Ok, let me explain here - I don't really have a problem with people who PLAY rugby (So that other guy up there scuba diving and playing cricket, etc, etc, etc - good for you man, you sound like my dad)

Painting a Picture - cool. not cool watching someone paint.
Playing a game - nice, half of mybb do that almost on a daily basis, probably. watching someone play, hmm....nah..
Eating - lekka. watching someone eat....err..?
Climbing a mountain/Scuba diving/Flying a plane/etc/etc. great! an achievement!
Playing a sport - Nice, exciting, and healthy. watching sport? why? who gives a ****? Who cares if we lost cricket with 32 overs or whatever?
