Finally!

Looks correctly on a Plus iPhone.

Found something that annoys me immensely in iOS 11. :p

The control centre toggles for wifi and bluetooth that doesn't actually switch them off, merely deactivates them.

I agree, its bullshyte

Music over USB cable in the car has been lagging since I installed iOS 11, but is officially unusable since I installed 11.2 beta 2. Jeez, radio stations suck!

Get a Aux cab....

oh wait....

Ignoring for a moment that I have no idea what you are on about, this seems to have been fixed since Beta 3. Music is still a bit laggy, but is working at least.

Anyone else finding the camera side of the phone getting very hot after the last update? Happens while browsing, checking mail etc.

Yes. Happened yesterday with a low battery percentage, don't recall it happening before but will monitor.

Music app also stuffed, doesn't work at all.

Edit: deleted app and reinstalled.

Apple releases iOS 11.2 with Apple Pay Cash, faster wireless charging, and date bug fix

Apple released iOS 11.2 to the public in the middle of the night Friday evening. The software updates brings support for Apple Pay Cash, but this unusual release time indicates that iOS 11.2 has more likely been pushed to fix an issue with a bug that just started appearing from iOS 11.1.2 users.

The bug in question made some iPhones running iOS 11.1.2 crash when receiving local notifications from third-party applications. This bug strangely started happening on December 2nd.

Because this bug was already fixed in iOS 11.2 beta released Friday to testers, it seems Apple decided to release the software update to the public immediately rather than seeding another point update.

iOS 11.2 is the same build as beta 6. They probably released the final today because of the date bug.

Oh well. At least 7.5w wireless charging is out now, which is still piss poor compared to the fast charge wireless charging on Android devices.
