ayyyy. Let's hope for dark mode in 12.x when the new iPhone comes out in September ;)

Siri shortcuts = Worklow app (acquired them last year). One of my favorite apps. Sweet!

Siri Suggestions should be interesting - save alot of spit repeating commands when it can all be done in one go.

Anyone else noticed they seemed to have solved the headache with getting 3D Secure verification sms codes typed into the field presented in iOS 12?

I recently purchased something online and when the sms came through, it was presented at the bottom of the 3D Secure screen as an option to be automatically entered into the field. I only had to tap on it once.

No more switching screens to and from the Messages app.

Well done, Apple!

That helps to move things forward.

In the final stretch now for IOS 12, with the new iPhone/other devices event about a month away.

Looks like iOS 12 GM is now out, had notifications on both iPad Pro and iPhone

Is this because you were on the beta?

Yes, there are links in the new iPhone thread if you want to install. The GM is the full public release.

You can download the .ipsw and install via iTunes if you want. Might even work just be installing the dev profile iirc.

feedback?

I’ve done the .ipsw iTunes update in the past, works perfectly (and is probably the better option with a big update). I’ve seen posts on MacRumours who’ve done it this evening and say it works perfectly.

The .ipsw is pulled directly from Apple servers, so no scope for anyone to do anything funny with the update.

I had the OTA update as I’d been running the beta since beta 5.
