Precisely cut to cover the front of the iPad 2, this protective film adheres to the display and helps shield it from danger.
I just need to get hold of some conductive foam :/ and preferably for cheaper than I can get hold of a stylus
Yeah saw that too! The hardest part is just finding that foam :/ time to speak to engineering friends

I have some spare foam lying around the office. Can always try and make a plan to get it to you.
I also phoned a place here in Pretoria called Electronics 123 and the guy was kind enough and said he would give me some of the foam from their packaging for free if I run out of stock.
Maybe try around your parts for similar shops.
Fxit man in my settings - general there is no option for software update. I think it is still on iOS3
The OTA updates were only introduced in iOS 5![]()
So I need to download the entire iOS5.1, no way I can force it to update with the iOS5 it already downloaded?
Hmm you said iOS 3?
If you are already running iOS 5, then in Settings > General > There should be a "Software Update" section.

Lol yes I think it is currently on iOS3, last night I downloaded iOS5 to update, since it takes forever on my 384k line I left it overnight. This morning I plug in to do the update and it tells me to download iOS5.1
Some advice please.
I managed to get standard sim cut to size today. Also got a mini sim converter. Now, how on the ipad to I check the balance of data bundle/airtime, please.
On iphone I use dialer to enter *100# or similar but on ipad there is not dialer.
Cool, thanks.
Finally... got an 8.ta SIM RICA'd and cut.... but now how the dingdong do you get the SIM's MSISDN number? It's too small to fit in a normal cellphone...![]()
NP
You put it in your iPhone 4...duhh![]()
Ok if you don't have an iPhone 4 then I don't actually know! Maybe you should have gotten it before you cut it haha. Maybe 8ta would be able to check for you somehow at one of their stores.
