Neither of you thought to google 'best iPhone apps'; 'top 10 iPhone games'; etc??

This forum is helpful and all but that does not mean you should just turn off your mind.

oh please spare us the personal attacks.

Many "good" apps do not necessarily fall under "best iphone apps" or "top 50 iphone apps" searches...

Now if ur mind wasnt turned off, you would have known that. Thank you and enjoy ur day.

"Where to start?..." as in there are sooooo many good ones how can we just list them. All depends on what you looking for.

I know you can't jailbreak the current 3.1.3 (iphone 3GS) but you can through a MAC (tethered jailbreak). My questions is, can it work if you partition your hard drive and install Mac OS on the one partition and ur windows on the other? To just use the Mac OS to jailbreak it... im not very familiar with Mac etc, hence me asking if this is possible?
 
Yes that's hackintosh. It can be done on certain motherboards and it works just like OS X if you get it working.

You can install Windows on a Mac , but most of the time not Mac OSX on a PC. Depends on motherboards and other hardware that has to be compatible. As mentioned, it's referred to as a "Hackintosh".

Alot of info on the web regarding these.

Regarding Windows JB for 3.1.3, have a look at Sn0wbreeze.. haven't upgraded myself from 3.1.2 so haven't really looked into it.

I'm skipping 3.1.3 and waiting for 4.0.

Sn0wbreeze only works if you are currently on 3.1.2 and it is JB... then you can upgrade to 3.1.3
 
My friend just recently got an iPhone from Nashua. I noticed that it's came OTB with 3.1.3 and it's manufactured week was prior to week 45 - meaning it's got the old bootrom correct?

Will have to test it out. Just think it's weird that a device that comes with 3.1.3 OTB would have the old bootrom?

Use the if0recast tool on the first page to check.

But it seems they've changed the whole serial number build date thing.. Also noticed that but if0recast clarified it
 
anyone fiddle with os 4.0 yet? very curious to know if the stereo bluetooth audio supports skip/play/pause controls from the receiving device yet?
