What is this trick?

I think it was me that mentioned it :)

You poke your speaker with a needle through each hole of the speaker(that's the left one..not too far as to damage the actual speaker, but just enough as to pierce the plastic dust cover underneath the casing)

I did it and it makes a big difference in speaker sound, but don't do it if your phones in dusty places all the time, otherwise its bound to get inside the phone.

I can't remember which one of you guys told me to pierce my little holes where the speaker is located but I did it today :D

Gee it really does make a difference...

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Swirly mms 1.2.7 released

mms from mtn works.... YAY!!!

Got it as well this morning - now to pay the oke. Damn R/$ rate... but R80 bucks is like 4 packs of smokes so no prob.

you should've bought much earlier, not only would it have been about half the price, but, i think these guys deserve the support...

my no1 choice app is pretty much a 50/50 split between swirly MMS and pdaNet, pdaNet still free b.t.w.

Can't believe the R/$ 10.70!!! and the £ is R18.50!!! Shikes!

Yaaaaaah! ;) SwirlyMMS is working! Now my iPhone is complete ;)

Yep the exchange is pathetic. Thought i could get a macbook pro from USA but darn that exchange rate.

BTW: got Swirly working this side as well: on vodacom. using SMMS 1.2.7

Not mine, someone I know bought one in Spain 6mth ago, and using it as an iPod Touch, told them it can be unlocked, but they need the turbosim, right?

Oh ok, yes you can but the turbosim needs to be programmed, not sure about the iPhone 3G process though.

avdp

You can order online from www.yessim.com or cough up R850 and purchase one from Wireless Toys in Fourways. They are a rip, but that's the only place I know that I can help...

No need to program gevey turbo sim, I've tested on MTN 3G and Vodacom 3G
no problems- just set up APN - INTERNET and off you go :D

@ avdp - You got a 3G iphone 6 months ago ? Launch date was 11 July ?
