ok it worked im picking up a signal ;-) thanks sooo much neway im already getting a "bug" when im typing out nubers etc it freezes/lags 4 a few seconds eg if i press "1" it doesnt come up soo i press it again a couple of times and abt 5sec later they all come up at once...

no worries... hmm.. thats why i recommend against upgrading and rather doing a restore..in that case create a pwned firmware using the tutorial link i sent you earlier and restore to it.. make sure to backup ur data tho

before you do that, have u tried rebooting?
 
ok ok i know im sounding like a real nag/complainer now but i can barely here nething when sumone calls me its like they wispering but they can hear me clearly....

maybe i should just start from scratch huh??

just turn the volume up during a call using the volume buttons (make sure its during a call) :)

if you tried that and it didnt work, then yeah, i would advise a restore..
 
lol yeah i tried that...guess im gonna have 2 restore will let u know how it went when im done...thanks again for all the help
 
lol ok its all working now just did a reset..BUT im still having probs with yahoo mail...it keeps sayn incorrect pword/user name any suggestions

are u sure u entered the correct username and password. i think the username is the full email address including @yahoo.com

or try turning SSL off in mail options
 
yeah i put in the full email and im 100% sure im putn in the right pword and user name... SSL??
 
so theres no way 2 receive mms's as yet?? damn....neway ill try messing around with the mail thing hopefuly i can sort it out... cos im gonna b wihtour internet 4 the next few days thats y trying 2 sort all this out 2night and bugging u so much ;)
 
yeah theres deff sthing wrong with the mail app cos i put in my hotmail acc and its doing the same thing :-( i know im troubling u but i really gotta sort this out b4 i hit the bed 2night or else ill b in the dark ages 4 the next week!

hmm.. hotmail isnt supported on the iPhone.. They dont have a POP3 server or IMAP..

Im pretty sure its a Yahoo problem

Why dont u just navigate to http://Mail.Yahoo.com on the iPhone itself in the meantime?
 
Can i use total commander 2 do that?? cos ive never used SSH...
 
yeah ok cool i guess thats my best bet 4 now...anyway thanks sooooooo sooooo much 4 all the help!! im already loving 2.0.2 just gotta get used 2 it i guess...any tips/good downloads u suggest??
