This is the only thing preventing me from installing cracked apps, I'm not keen on replacing system files... but then again this file only concerns apps.

Gonna be a bit hard considering UUnet doesn't allow anonymous logins any more

Oops don't think it's allowed anymore but these were the instructions...

Okay, I haven't seen a tutorial on this, so I'm going to write one.

1. Download a FTP program, I use FileZilla!
Get it here (this was the latest version when I uploaded it on the 16th March 2008)

1.1. Once you've downloaded and installed FileZilla, open it.

2. Create a new site by pushing CTRL + S, click on "new site" and type in by host: ftp.uunet.co.za, leave it on Anonymous login settings.

2.1. Click on "Advanced" tab and in "Default remote directory" put /pub/incoming/ (this just makes it quick and easy)

3. Click on "Transfer settings" tab and make sure you 'tick' Limit number of simultaneous connections to "1"

4. Click "OK" at the bottom or "Connect" to test your settings.

Now...

Whenever you wanna upload something, open the site, connect and it'll take you to the root directory, you can then "in the url location" type the folder name like I do and connect to the folder or "create a new folder" and upload files to it.

I hope this was easy to understand...

no worries marine downloaded more than enough apps last night to keep me busy most of them are a waste of time/space.

Try Asphalt 4, Labyrinth, Converter, iWik (wikipedia on iPhone), Sudoku, Scrabble and Spore

Still, would be nice to hook up a local place where we can share apps... Im testing it out now and will let you guys know.. (2 mins)

Ok guys.. I''ve found a place for out apps!!

Limit of 10MB per file (sucks i know, but i've seen a lot of good apps < 10MB so it's fine for now + its LOCAL!! )

Thanks man Sucks that we can't hide messages from non-members.. I thought invite-only would hide the messages from non-members, but it doesn't
