My springboard icons keep rearranging
I have a jailbreaked iPhone running Categories, Five Icon Dock, QuickGold & others. Anyway to fix this?

Every time the Auto-lock function activates after 1 minute is turns off Wifi in order to save battery - i'm fine with this..
But as I unlock with the phone, surely Wifi should be enabled again?! Well it doesn't I have to go to Settings and choose my router again!
I'm telling you its that g*damn WinterBoard I had installed that's playing these funny games with my phone!!
Anyone else?

Sounds like an ownership / permissions error to me..
Can you SSH into the phone? If so in Putty, type: (Or even in MobileTerminal which you can grab from Cydia )

It's been removed ages ago...
Okay I set the owner permissions, yet again. Hopefully I won't have this problem again - will post back to let you know if it was the issue....
Doesn't make sense, I know so many people that use WinterBoard without any issues. But you prob right fxit, it could be the ownership issue...

I set those permissions on:
cd /
AND
cd ~
Does it make any difference, or was it okay that I set them to both? Or is ~ and / the same thing?!
~ just means ur at the root directory afaik.. but as long as it doesn't give you any errors it should have worked

It doesn't support Mac yet, so I can't try it out:
I used to use TouchPad Pro back in the 1.1.x days....
Don't like the fact that you need extra software on your PC to use the app..

Been working fine for me, no freaky reaarangment of apps or anything, it does also install backgrounder, a service which keeps some apps running in the background for quick access, this makes your folders open instantly in stead of taking a few seconds to load (only for selected folders), however, this feature is buggy, i only have 3 folders, rest of my apps remain on the springBoard, most of the time the folders open instantly, but it does happen from time to time that it has to load again, generally i'm happy with categories
