Hi, I have actually had very few issues with my two (3G)iPhones.
My only gripe, is battery life, but then again I use the 3G/GPS/sms/phone/and mp3 all day, I expect it not to last that long.
The iPhone by itself is not entirely feature rich, but after reading this thread, I jailbreaked both...and I must say I wouldn't have another phone at the moment.
Anyone using Dtunes?
I found a bug or two. When using the dim backlight switch if the phone locks, the dim switch will not go off, and you have to uninstall Dtunes and reboot to get the backlight back on.
If you download an mp3 to preview it, if you pause it, and then start the download of the file itself, it carries on playing.
It seems to randomly swop between landscape and portrait player, and the portrait player sometimes freezes, quick reboot is needed.

Anyone know of a free MP3 mixer, similar to the pay one on the app store? Also the download plugin that comes with Boss prefs only allows for download of certain ext. any plugin that will let ANY ext download?

Okay let me explain why one would use this.
I had a faulty/buggy backup. Every time I restored my iPhone the Pineapple would remain on the screen and just vibrate every 15 seconds. I attempted it about 3 times, so I gathered that it DEFINITELY was a faulty backup file that was causing this problem. Therefore I couldn't get all my old settings, SMS's and notes back. I had NB SMS so I did a search a found this app.

It's tiny, 600KB and looks into the ~/Library/App Support/MobileSync/Backups/ directory and then spits them out into simple file format so you can then SSH back into the Library folder onto the iPhone.
Only works for Mac users so sorry for Wins0z3 users.
I highly recommend backing up manually (SSH way) to avoid a faulty backup. fxit_man has posted a post in this thread on how to backup manually - search for it.

OK, so I fell off the boat with my TyTn and now have a iP16GB in my pocket.
I am only up to page 96 in my required reading, hope to be able to have a intelligent conversation by the end of the weekend.
Updated to 2.1 last night ..... this morning I check www.apple.com and 2.2 is available. Good thing I added iC to my required reading or I might have been tempted to upgrade.
WTF is visual voicemail ?

IT WORKS!!!! HALLELUJA!!!!! oh my word! thank you maker of firmware 2.2, because u have saved my iphone! now just to wait for the dev team to hook up some jailbreakage for the new version! aaah, im so glad right now!

Guys when using Alok to convert avi to Iphone / ipod, the voices are out of sync with the movie. Why would this be?
