Yes but I got mine in Bridge mode... So I create a pppoe dail up in windows to connect... Can I still connect with the iPhone like this?

Seriously dude, youve been posting about this for 3 days now, ever think of try f for yourself and posting only if it doesn't work?

My personal method (you havent jailbroken yet i take it so this will not work yet. P.S. another reason to jailbreak ;) ):

1) Change to the list view in iTunes

2) Right click the song in your iTunes library that you want to add as a ringtone, click convert to AAC / "Create AAC Version"

3) Right click the newly converted song and click show in Windows Explorer.

4) Rename the track to <name>.m4r.

5) Transfer via SSH to the /Library/Ringtones folder

For non-jailbreak method, see here and here . Must be 30/40 secs long (instructions all there though)

Any song can be a ringtone as long as it's not longer than 40 secs and has a .m4r(rename an mp3 or m4a to m4r at the end) extension. Nice thing about creating iPhone ringtones is choosing exactly the part of a song you want to play as a ringtone.

I use garageband on my mac for my ringtones personally.

grr, I knew I should have started earlier today LOL! now im going to sit all night with the phone lol! Ok, im downloading that program fxit man :) only 40 seconds? :( lemme check it out :) thanks for all the help!!

Which one? MakeiPhoneRingtone? It's for mac only I hope you know :p

Your calls don't even ring for 40 seconds so I would'nt worry about it too much!!

Jisja!! I got my wifi to work, my photos, my ringtones, my music, so Im set :) Hee Haa :) Thank you fxit man and aqua lung for all your help! Is there anything else thats cool that i can use, or do? I dont want to jailbreak it right now :)

Yep, do you have an iTunes account?

If not, I can probably make you one and will PM u the details. Then go to the AppStore on your phone, Charts, Top free apps and install some free apps!

I sold my last $20 itunes gift certificate, if you want a US account I can try and get another US certificate if you're interested.
