I agree with you! I couldn't give a damn about the SDK. Don't have a clue or the time to write an app!

They selling spaces off eBay and hackint0sh forums.. Where did you get your UDID activated?

Booting in and out of Windows is a mission... I hate windows.

What APN do you always use for your iPhone?

I cannot access Cellular Data Network to change it to 'internet'. iphone.vodacom.za never worked with me.

Anyone tried installing cr4ck3d apps?

EDIT: Don't worry.. I managed to change the Carrier.plist that was in the Vodafone_za.bundle. Now the internet APN is working. Haven't tried MMS, but it should work as I didn't edit any other string in the plist.

Did you compile those ipcc's?

My MMS isn't working! Is there anything wrong here?

i just kept using iphone.vodacom.za, always been fine for me, you should just be able to phone 111 and have them activate that for you, it will better support push notifications etc in future, so i do suggest you do this

mms settings look ok, but i don't recognize the format

make changes to the ipcc with an app called "plist editor", just google it, mms works fine for me, on vodacom, if mms isn't active on your account, you just have to send an mms for it to be activated and you're ready to go

type-mask, mms_proxy and mms_proxy_port shouldn't be in quotes, they are key names
Edit: -2 shouldn't be in quotes either, it's a number data type, not string
 
Ok, second time this has happened to me...

Installed itunes, popped my iphone into the usb extension.

Wham, windows crashes, got some kind of blue screen...

Now EVERYTIME my windows starts up, I keep getting a blue screen indicating that I've got some disc inconsistancies and the countdown starts....

Which ever option I choose this keeps happening over and over again.

Anyone had this problem before?

Edit: And my PC won't detect or charge my phone anymore... :(

You think they gonna know what I am talking about regarding the iPhone APN?? Haha.. Those people are so useless...

I use PList Editor Pro for Mac. That's just the format I set it to, I can change it to a format that's more familiar.

That's is ASCII format, if I change it to XML format, it will be in a more familiar format. Just posted that, so you can see if the values are correct.

Maybe I need to get that iPhone APN activated first, and then it will work.

Sorry dude, can't help you here.. Maybe one of the Wind0z3 dudes can provide some advice?? Like format your whole PC and lose all data?? :rolleyes:
 
No one at 111 can help me, they keep on forwarding me to other techies!

On the line now with 155 (pressed 222 after) to get through to their 'dedicated iPhone support line'.....

Can't come right with these f00ls at Nashua. They don't even know what the iphone APN exists..

Apparently a lot of new apps have incompatibility problems with intelliscreen. Have you tried disabling it?

Ha!!! Problem found, its iBlacklist with iRealSMS that is causing the problem, when I disable iBlacklist it works fine

I tell you it irks the hell out of me, and both irealsms and iblacklist say its the other ones problem. And I stumbled onto this when I read on a forum that their is an issue between mcleaner and irealsms, so I decided to disable iblacklist (because they basically do the same), and it worked

Why you running iBlacklist with iRealSMS - iReal has got a blacklist integrated or is this only for SMS's and iBlacklist is for calls as well??
 
iBlacklist is for calls (as well as sms, but I only use it for calls, disabled the sms part). But its no train smash, I can live without it
 
Beta 4 has been released. iTunes 8.2 (pre-release) needs to installed in order to activate beta 4......
