hey guys

i updated my iphone with the ipcc from http://www.marcforrest.com for mms.
with those settings i couldn't get cellular data to work, and had to change it back to 'internet' for the apn.

also, when i have the mms settings in, it works but i can't receive calls, it goes straight to voicemail. i had to update back to the orginal vodacom_za ipcc. any suggestions to sort this out?

Just use Installous. I also used the Greece one, works great.

Then the app will show up in Installous where you can install it.

Guys some help, I didnt have a downloads folder so just created one and dragged the IPA in there, now what do I need to do ?
Weird it starts and then says unable to decompress and shuts down

i just added "cydia.hackulo.us" as a source in cydia, installed "appsync" and then double clicked on the IPA in windows and it added to itunes.
then just sync and replace the map.

SSH into application folder and and in 'maps' create a new folder named 'aus'. Copy the maps into that folder.

I must be a real tool.
I have it working now but cannot get the SA maps to work
I went to :
Replace the Map File with this one:
\private\var\mobile\applications\(look for the sygic app)\Sygic Australia & New Zealand.app\map\aus\
But there is no Aus folder.

Ahhh you actually have to add the folder and then copy into that folder.

HI! I am asking this question for the seconed time i a week:
When I sync my contacts with Windows address book, only the first names gets saved on the phone!
I'm using version2.2.
Is there any way to solve this?!Please!!!

try google, never heard of this, must be something to do with windows address book, or do you mean outlook, outlook express or other?

Guys, I'm getting worried that noobs reading this thread, and without proper knowledge, are screwing up their phones.

I think the name of this thread ''tips/tricks/apps'' might have become a bit misleading and should rather be changed to ''iphone jailbreak'' thread.

Heh heh - thats probably why I am not having hassles - been using Swirly since it was released for OS3.0. I just switched MMS off in the settings.
