Just received phone number two: iPhone 3GS 16GB WHITE! I think it's a nice present for his xxth Birthday :)

must just check as my dad is no longer in dubai, but may stop over again on the way back...

also need to confirm that they are definitely factory unlocked first and that they aren't American imports or something...

I'm looking for a nice photo manager app for my iPhone. Something that can move photos around into folders etc... Apple really didn't build a lot of functionality into the standard photo browser.

They should stop waisting time to counteract the crackers and spend more time adding functionality to the iPhone!

Anyway *rant over* :)
 
So my iPhone fell in the rain on Monday hopefully the household insurance will either repair it or replace it. I have only insured it for 7k about a month back so i'm worried they wont pay out the full amount. the sad thing is i'm using a nokia again and its like going back to the stone ages lol I miss my phone.

is it water damage or other damage too?
 
Think just water but there is a crack on the back cover. The insurance are sending there repair guy to pick up the phone from me today to see if he can fix it. If he cant i'm hoping they replace it with a 3Gs.

The 16GB 3Gs will cost around R7900 that means me adding a R900 ontop of the insured value to get it. My hope are not that high.

sister want's one, vodacom has no stock, doesn't know when they will have stock... annoying... just ask your dad to put his sim in your new iphone, see what happens?

you can insist that they pay out the value of the phone, then you can purchase what you want seeing as it's the household insurance, they have to allow you to upgrade by paying in, so essentially, go somewhere where they sell your now broken phone for 7k, have them write out a quote, claim that from the insurance, then go buy the 3gs yourself, if you can find stock....
 
Anyone else struggling to connect to the iPhone.vodacom.za APN? Had to change to Internet APN now.
 
I am having some trouble with my 3GS... I cant use Edge or 3G!! They just wont connect even if it says 3G next to my signal it still refuses to connect.

Do I need to put in some settings? I am on Vodacom on a Unlocked 3GS
