Where is everyone in this thread??!?!?

So does the find my iphone thing only work with a mobile me account which you have to buy? Are there any other security alternatives for if your iphone gets stolen?

It only works with mobile.me - and quite brilliantly I must say. Doubt if there is anything similar available atm.

Weekends are always quiet here...

So I would have to buy an account? What else will mobile.me give me?

Calendar that syncs with your iPhone and Mac - Contacts that sync with your iPhone and Mac - including contact photos.(I never have to worry about backing up my iPhone contacts).
eMail that uses push to the iPhone. A virtual disk (iDisk)which you can access from your iPhone or Mac- a photo gallery which has syncs to iPhoto and has quite a nice interface - of course no advertising - the ability to publish web pages to your web server on mobile.me - I might have missed something - check it out http://www.apple.com/mobileme/.

You get60 days free trial if you want to try it out..

Guys is it possible to "backup" my Cydia? so If I restore my phone I can just use thet backup instead of getting all my stuff again

Nope. But Exchange, IMAP and POP is supported. You can also get push mail on an Exchange account, MobileMe, GMail and Yahoo.

gpush is pretty good for gmail notifications, but i recently installed growl which is great, can send just about any kind of push notification you want to the iphone.
