I'm connecting to home ADSL and using WhatsApp on an iPhone. However, it loses the ad-hoc wifi connection a lot - especially when the screen locks. Anyone else experiencing this?

The WiFi disconnects after a little while when the screen is turned off (to conserve power). That is when the 3G kicks in (so you can still receive your push notifications etc.) - as soon as your screen is turned on it will then reconnect to the WiFi network.
When charging the phone the WiFi will stay connected even with the screen off.
 
Ok I need some help with FXIT_MAN's Voda logo.
I enabled SSH on my phone last night.
I then Downloaded the .zip file.
In the instructions on page 1 of this thread, I did not know how to do step 1 of the instructions. I'm not sure what DIskAid is.
Nonetheless, I navigated myself into my phone directory and found System/Library/Carrier Bundles/Vodafone_za.bundle/ I replaced the 2 .png files with FXIT's files.
I resprung my phone, but the old logo is still appearing

Please help!

They've changed things since iOS4 and also for the iPhone 4 the resolution is much bigger.

Busy making some more and i will post the updated instructions with them.

Just a question on something else, does Lockdown work on iPhone 4? I installed it from Cydia but my springboard crashes everytime I launch the Lockdown Icon :(

ok sorry ignore my last post, I just read the description now and I see it does not work in 4.0
