But you see, here's the thing. People who believe that farm attacks should be a special category of crime are clearly happy with some crimes being treated differently to others. Such people should surely have no problem with other crimes having their own category too, like GBV.

Geez. The idea of categorizing some crime as more serious than others is to actually solve it. Like this serial killer got some special attention and police made some arrest. Which is good.

I don't commit GBV, and I also don't attack farms. They are both regarded by their proponents as being worthy of being categorised as a special type of crime, hence the comment I made.

I also can't agree with you that acts of domestic violence aren't "serious crimes". Do you really believe that, bearing in mind that a large percentage of murder victims are murdered by their partner? It's unlikely that the act of violence they experienced leading up to their murder was their first exposure to domestic violence in that relationship.

Radebe was walking from his grandmother’s home in Kwaguqa to Lynville on Saturday, September 19, when he was reportedly questioned about where he lived and where he had come from, according to his family.

The family said Radebe explained that he had lived in Kempton Park and was returning from his grandmother’s home in Kwaguqa.
