The Kia Stinger Thread

AMJ-Fahrzeugdesign gets low with custom Kia StingAIR

German aftermarket tuner AMJ has significantly decreased the ride height on this Kia Stinger, which it has fittingly dubbed the StingAIR. The custom build provides the South Korean compact executive sedan with a tweaked suspension and radical body kit.

The air suspension system is sourced from Bilstein Performance and joined by an electronic Air Lift Performance 3P controller. This allows the driver to alter the height back to the standard figure at the touch of a button. The suspension is joined by a set of 20-inch Tomason TN19 rims with 225/35 front and 255/30 rear tyres.

Adding to the visual phenomenon of the suspension is a conclusive body kit which includes a front spoiler lip and side sills from Maxton Design. These are accompanied by a pair of rear skirts from Ingo Noak, a rear diffuser from M&S and an LED rear lighting kit.

That thing will age faster than a 3 series in a few years. It already looks like an old car.

So, a bargain in waiting for those of us that can't afford a Suzuki Swift right now?

Thing is that if you can get it for a similar price than a 3 series or c class with similar power figures, I'm not sure I'd want this. How many of these were sold locally?

I think it was only 25.

My dad was the first private person to take ownership of his just over 2 years ago.
I think the styling is still current and they seem to hold their value pretty well.
I would still take a Stinger over a BMW or Merc, even if it's just for the exclusivity - I mean, I know what to look for, and in over 2 years I still haven't seen another one on the road.
Performance and driveability is awesome, and it's a lot of fun to drive.

I don't know, it looked really cool when it launched, now it just looks meh. But that's just my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions.
