It's not like people are throwing their life savings into this. At 30c a share you can buy s **** ton load and walk away either with a fat wad of cash, or you down a few bucks.

It's not like we dumped our life savings into this. We went into it knowing that it was a gamble, prepared to lose a few bucks. I've already more than doubled what I put in, based on current prices...

Short term speculative share investing gains are seen as income tax. You must hold for 3 years as far as I understand for it to be capital gains.
I'm not sure he's correct, CGT is tax on money you get from selling an asset.And the difference is?
