The Lynk & Co Thread

Lynk & Co 10+ is a new powerful electric sedan from China

Official images from China have finally shown us the new Lynk & Co 10+. This is not a regular family car - it is a high-performance version of the upcoming 10 sedan. It seems the company wants to prove that EVs can be both smart and very fast. This new model will replace the Z10, after a very short life since its debut in late 2024.

One look at the Lynk & Co 10+ tells you it wants to go fast. It has a very sporty body kit that sets it apart from the standard version. You will notice big, aggressive bumpers and side skirts. The most obvious change is the massive rear spoiler sitting on the trunk. It also has a smaller "ducktail" spoiler and a roofline that slopes down smoothly. To keep the air moving easily, the car uses semi-hidden door handles and mirrors without frames - every little bit counts when it comes to EV efficiency.

This is a large car, even if it looks sleek. The Lynk & Co 10+ measures 5,050 mm long, 1,966 mm wide, and 1,468 mm tall. It has a long wheelbase of 3,005 mm, so there should be plenty of legroom inside. It sits on big 21-inch wheels that fill up the wheel arches. We do not know exactly how much wind resistance it has, but the design suggests it is built to cut through the air effectively.

Technology is a big part of modern electric cars, and this one is loaded with it. On the roof, you can spot a LiDAR sensor. This works like a laser eye to help the car "see" the road. It also uses three radars, 11 cameras, and 12 sensors. All that data goes into a powerful Nvidia Drive Orin chip. This system helps the car with advanced driving tasks, making it safer and easier to handle in traffic.

The real magic of the Lynk & Co 10+ is under the floor. It uses two electric motors to drive all four wheels. The motor in the front delivers 310 kW, which is about 416 hp. The motor in the back is even stronger, making 370 kW or 496 hp. When they work together, the car puts out 680 kW - that equals 912 hp.

Even though it weighs 2,287 kg, this car is quite quick. The top speed is capped at 240 km/h. The company has not said exactly how fast it hits 100 km/h, but we can have a good guess. A similar car from the same parent company is the Zeekr 001, and it does the sprint in 2.91 seconds. Since the Lynk & Co 10+ is a bit lighter, it might reach 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds - fast enough to make your stomach feel a bit funny.

Volvo will be the exclusive importer for Lynk & Co in Europe

Volvo and Geely announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding to establish a commercial partnership for Lynk & Co distribution in Europe.

Volvo will assume responsibility for Lynk & Co's commercial operations and brand management across Europe, and will become the exclusive importer and distributor of Lynk & Co vehicles in Europe.

This will accelerate Lynk & Co's development on the continent, according to the companies. Volvo will sell Lynk & Co cars through its retail network and share its sales and after-sales systems in relevant European markets, allowing it to cover a broader consumer base, targeting different customers and market segments.

Lynk & Co 08 review

Verdict

In a world transitioning from ICE to EV, Lynk & Co decided to unite the two worlds and created a wonderful combination. The Lynk & Co 08 can easily cover 1,000 km with both of its battery and tank full and thus offer greater versatility.

For urban needs the 08 allows solid range on a single charge, whereas on the highway you can rely on the big tank to reach faraway destinations, practically eliminating range anxiety.

The 08 may not really be outstanding in any category, but is highly competent in many. Jack of all trades? Not quite, as the Lynk & Co 08 simply tries to fill a different gap and it's thus unwise to directly compare it to the cars either side of it.

If you’re in the market for such a vehicle and want to combine the efficiency of an EV with the range of internal combustion, we strongly suggest you book a test drive for the Lynk & Co 08.

Lynk & Co 10 and 10+ debut with record performance and fast charging

Lynk & Co, one of Geely's many brands, officially revealed its new electric cars on April 7, 2026. The new models are called the Lynk & Co 10 and the Lynk & Co 10+. They are large, battery-powered sporty sedans, and before the official debut were known as Z10 and Z10+, but the company decided to change the names for the final release.

The Lynk & Co 10+ is the high-performance version of the pair. It is the first vehicle from the brand to wear the "+" badge, which apparently means it is built for speed. To show what it can do, the company took it to the Asian Ridge Track. The car finished a lap in 1 minute and 40.14 seconds, beating the Porsche Taycan GTS in the process, and making it the fastest car on that track.

The new Lynk & Co EVs are quite big - each model is 5,050 mm long and 1,966 mm wide. They stand 1,468 mm tall and have a very long wheelbase of 3,005 mm. Because the wheels are so far apart, there is plenty of room for passengers and a large battery under the floor. The design follows a style the company calls "The Next Day," which gives the cars a sharp and modern look.

The Lynk & Co 10+ gets a rear wing made of carbon fiber that can adjust to help the car grip the road. It also gets large 21-inch wheels and Brembo performance brakes. Buyers can choose a new exterior color called "Racing Shadow Blue" and a bright "Shadow Red" interior. It is definitely a car meant to stand out in a parking lot or even on a racetrack.

Under the skin, the Lynk & Co 10+ uses two electric motors to drive all four wheels. Together, these motors deliver 680 kW or 912 horsepower. This allows the car to go from zero to 100 km/h in only 3.2 seconds. If you are already driving on the highway, it can jump from 80 km/h to 120 km/h in 2.1 seconds, making passing slow traffic very easy.

Lynk & Co 10 goes on sale in China with ultra-fast charging

Geely's premium brand, Lynk & Co, kicked off sales of its newest mid-to-large-sized electric sedans on May 29, 2026. Called the Lynk & Co 10 series, this fresh entry targets the very competitive premium EV segment. The manufacturer divided the lineup into two distinct vehicles: the standard "10" for everyday premium driving and the aggressive, high-performance "10+" for enthusiasts.

To mark the arrival of the new EVs, the automaker rolled out a limited-time promotional pricing - for the standard Lynk & Co 10 range, the base 701 Long Range Max starts at an official price of RMB 183,900 (€23,100), but drops to a promotional RMB 169,900 (€21,300). Upgrading to the 701 Long Range Ultra changes the official sticker price to RMB 189,900 (€23,900), which becomes RMB 175,900 (€22,100) under the promotion. The longest-range single-motor variant, the 816 Ultra Long Range, lists at RMB 205,900 (€25,900) officially but sells for RMB 191,900 (€24,100) during the launch window.

The dual-motor Lynk & Co 10+ models offer serious track-level performance. The AWD Sport variant has an official price tag of RMB 233,900 (€29,400), discounted to RMB 219,900 (€27,600) for early buyers. Finally, the top-shelf AWD Racing variant normally demands RMB 249,900 (€31,400), but the promotional campaign trims that figure down to RMB 235,900 (€29,600).

Visually, the new 10 and 10+ follow a unique styling language named "The Next Day." The front of the vehicle has a sporty bumper that borrows design cues directly from the brand's TCR touring race cars. A hidden, active air intake grille helps control airflow for optimal aerodynamics. Every vehicle in the family measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,966 mm in width, and 1,468 mm in height, riding on a generous 3,005 mm wheelbase. The performance-oriented 10+ takes styling a bit further by adding lightweight 21-inch forged wheels, high-performance Brembo brake discs with four-piston calipers, and sticky Michelin PS EV tires.
