Sorry, as a LFC supporter, **** happens.

Terry, Ha ha ha, Crying like a ******, still history is written, bugger, LFC to take some of this back next year (me hopes)

BTY well done manure.

Henry warms the bench cos Eto is better. Messi is much better! Thats why. This year Bojan the 17 year old played better than Henry as well.

That is why Henry warms the bench ;)

I'd still start with Henry. Look how ineffective those three were against United and the chances Henry made in the little time he was on.

They were ineffective cos United camped 11 players in their half. Hell any team would be ineffective if the other team goes out to defend the entire game.

Henry was probably the best striker the EPL has seen over the past decade.

He moved to Spain and warmed the bench. Started alot the beggining of the season, but failed to produce anything. So they benched him.

Bojan, Messi and Eto had a better season than him. So there was no reason to start Henry against United.

If i remember correctly. He touched the ball twice in the 15 minutes he was on against United. I would hardly call that effective.

Still managed to make the best chances, though. Doesn't say much for the rest of the team then :o

Henry touched the ball twice in 15 minutes. He took one shot that was blocked. Did you watch the game?

Doesnt say much about United attacking powers hey. They had 27% posession.

Yes I watched the game. I saw United keep the supposedly great attacking threat of Barca down to exactly zero goals over 180mins and then I saw the next game where we won our 3rd European Cup. Good times :)

I also saw the supposedly great attacking powers of United struggle to hold onto the ball. Managing only 27% posession. Then @ OT scoring one goal and then camping 11 players in their box and half.

So much for an attacking team.

I'm shocked that a team like Barcelona would opt not to start with Henry
Shocking!!! He looked like the only player who would score in the little time he was on the field.

Again!

Henry came on for the last 15 minutes he touched the ball twice in 15 minutes. He had one shot from outside.

Henry doesnt start at Barca cos he isnt good enough. Deal with it! He was the best in the EPL but he isnt good enough to start at Barca.

must be hard to want to put english players down all the time when they move to spain

At Barcelona, Henry was given the number 14 jersey, the same number he had previously worn at Arsenal. He scored his first goal for his new club on 19 September 2007 in a Champions League match against Lyon, which Barcelona won 3–0;[33] on 29 September 2007 in a La Liga match against Levante, he recorded his first hat-trick for Barcelona.[34] However, with Henry mostly deployed on the wing throughout the season, he was unable to reproduce the goal-scoring form he achieved with Arsenal. Barcelona was also unable to win any silverware for the second year running, leading to much uncertainty surrounding the Catalan club. Henry concluded his debut season as club's overall top scorer with 19 goals, ahead of Samuel Eto'o (18 goals) and Lionel Messi (16 goals).

so he sits on the bench and still out scores everyone else at barca playing on the wing

kule where you getting 22 goals in 20 appearances from?

wiki is never wrong

so henry scored 12 in how many appearances cannot find it anywhere?

kule now you know your talkin rubbish

henry is not good enough

come on now, you cannot believe that

we all know when spanish players come to england it takes them time to get going (torres is the exception)

saying henry is not good enough is lie and you know it

if henry started every game and they just let him do his thing he would be the best in spain just as he was in england

Killadoob - i am not talking rubbish, i can assure you that. I watch every single Barca game, and i am a die hard devoted fan of the team.

I will not slate Henry i was one of the happiest people alive whenwe signed him.

This season, he was forced to play on the left wing. He suffered. When given the chance to play in the centre he just couldnt get going.

Messi, Eto and Bjoan who all play in the same position as Henry had a better season. Henry just wasnt good enough compared to them.

Eto is better than Henry, the man is a goal scoring machine! This season he scored 18 out of 18 in the league. Messi? Enough said about him.

Bojan, played brilliant and also had a better season than Henry. So what does the coach do, if he has three fowards that are better than Henry? Common sense really.

My goodness some people are blind :D
You can say what you like...Henry looked the most dangerous player when he came on against United.

What that google of yours doesnt tell you is that Messi and Eto was injured most of the season. Eto was away for a while at AFCON duty as well.

Had both played the full season and been fit, they would have outscored Henry.
