interesting thought, as nuclear tests were sometimes done underwater.
and the radiation was detected, if one was to do it that deep, obviously the pressure would contain most of the blast, and yes the radiation would kill a lot of fish.
maybe awaken the kraken, but would the blast be enough to start an earthquake.
Wouldn't the water pressure be too much for radiation to spread? I think the radiation would be contained within the range of the blast and perhaps be forced downwards. But I'm no expert.

oh wow, many thanx for that explanationSpace is a vacuum, meaning there is no pressure. However, on Earth we are accustomed to 1 Atmosphere (or 1 Bar) of pressure at sea level, all the gasses in your body and cells are at this pressure. So if you go to space the 1 bar pressure difference is like somebody trying to blow you up like a party balloon. It won't end well.

PS. the second pic is wrong about the blue whales, the deepest confirmed dive is 506 meters (1,660 feet).
