The Mazda CX-5 Thread

Such a shame that the diesel models seems to be problematic and the dealerships are unable to fix them properly were as the petrol versions just keep on running with no issues.

Any ideas yet what car will you be getting?
 
Not really sure. The only comparable car would be something like the X3 but I’m already losing so much on this I’m not going to bother financing another car. So maybe something smaller and cheaper, qashqai maybe?

Maybe time for some Chinese value? Haval Jolion or H6 OR the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro?
 
Dealership has my car that said “it might take a few days” so they gave me a Mazda 2 loaner. Must say I miss my car already. What a kak situation. It’s like being in an abusive relationship. You know you should get out but it’s so good when it’s she’s not trying to kill you.

I wonder, what are they doing this time around to fix the issue.

Have they previously replaced any parts at all?
How long does it still have warranty?
 
They have already replaced one of the injectors, they seemed to have thought it was over fuelling. There’s 2 weeks left on the factory warranty and 3 years left on the extended. 2 or 3 I can’t remember what the extended warranty is.

Still don’t have my car. They have had it for 7 days now. Last I checked they were sending oil samples to be tested for diesel contamination

Because they are rubbish:ROFL: The only brand with a 4500 member FB group dedicated to issues in just South Africa.

In the past you called them “owners clubs” now its “it must fall clubs”

Still the same issue as before?

I am considering one atm, just waiting for its checks to be done by mazda then il be taking one for test drive, hopefully its fine
