No it is what YOU want! Cos then it would fit in with this warped weird world view you have where you invent these scenarios in your mind and wish they would play out in reality. Only problem is you live in fantasy world where every Jew is an evil murderer and every crazy murdering terrorist who claims Islam as his motivation is a "do no wrong" angel. You look for all kinds of justifications for your racist tendencies, but none are forthcoming because they have no basis in reality.

The only link between the holocaust and Gaza is that you have two groups, one bent on the complete and utter destruction of the other race, and one trying to defend itself from annihilation. The Jews are the victims in both cases, and the Germany and Hamas are the aggressors. THAT is reality. Get used to it... or not... you can keep living in your little dream world... makes no difference to me.

Awe shame they just trying to defend themselves from the evil people retaliating from Israeli oppression. Shame they always the victims they so innocent blah blah blah.......

I find it ridiculous that the same people that are saying we should forget apartheid and move on are the same people saying we should not forget the Holocaust.....

Both Israel and the Palestinians are at fault in the current conflict, neither side has clean hands and neither side is willing to budge.

The Holocaust, Apartheid, Gaza and all other conflicts should be remembered with the aim of preventing future such incidents.

Ahhh a decent post for change.
But how have we learnt from history? Crusades, Rwanda, Holocaust, Gaza Chenoble, Hiroshima, Vietnam, Bosnia etc...

After a while it disappears from our minds and happens again. This particular conflict with as much intervention as possible will never just go away, worst of all it WILL lead to other violence around the world.

It's not going to happen as long as you have people like JK8 in the world who have inborn prejudice against people of other races. Get rid of the prejudice and you might have a chance... but some people just hate others for no reason. Racism just comes naturally to some people.

Actually Jews declared war...
And Hitler used this and other articles to justify the persecution, also the assassination of vom Rath by a Jew in 1938 just helped Hitler more.

Hitler was not only after Jews but hated Communism and the Polish just as much, many Poles were massacred.

come on... you're not that stupid... are you? You know your history better than that. Why would the Jews declare war on Germany for no reason? Read the article you posted.

I'm pointing out that to you the Palestinians started things but the Germans felt the same about the Jews, the Jews were responding to Anti-semitism just like Palestinians are responding to the siege and loss of land.

If you read the paper, it states that as a result of the persecution of Jews in Germany, Jews around the world had decided to boycott German products. Not really a declaration of war, but rather a peaceful protest.

I wonder if there were any violent protests with flag burning and all the wonderfully descriptive placards that we see today when such oppression occurs.

As for Hitler he pretty much hated everybody

Yes I know, my point was that to the Germans who were victims of Nazi propaganda (where articles like this was used) saw the persecution of Jews as self-defense.

I would like to be more broad-minded as to believe that they did it in the desire for some kind of self-determination.... BUT... everybody knows what kind of organization Hamas is... we have know that for years. We knew they were behind numerous brutal suicide bombings in Israel. So to those who voted for Hamas... you voted for the killing of innocents... you are now getting what you deserve. Quit complaining and take your medicine.
