The Middle East Conflict Thread

A rocket attack is an act of war. No bones about it.

So the five Israelis killed so far by Hamas rocket attacks mean nothing in your book? Their lives are worthless to you?

Palestinian medical sources reported that the number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli airstrike against the Gaza Strip Saturday afternoon stands at 205, including policemen, women and children. Over 400 were wounded in the airstrike.

Can you really compare those numbers?

There is no justification for punishing 1.5 million in the Gaza Strip because of the actions of a few

Among the dead Friday were Mohammed Astal, 11, his brother Abed Rabbo Astal, 8, and their 10-year-old cousin Walid Astal. Witnesses said the boys were standing outside their home in the western Gaza city of Khan Yunis chewing on stalks of sugar cane when an Israeli missile struck.

"Why they were targeted? There were neither armed Hamas positions nor governmental compounds," said the victims' uncle Mohammed Astal. "For what was this bombing? I want the world of democracy to tell me."

Clearly they are going after the leaders of the Hamarse, and have succeeded in taking out the top two and a whole load of weapons.

Those the two leaders you are refering to?

In SA for the same amount of time an equal number of people have been killed(without a war) and no one even notices that. Yet our president gives advice to the Israelis what to do. Sick....

Do you have a reading problem?
There was no mention of the two terrorist leaders in that quote - if you still have difficulty in understanding what we're talking about I can post the links for you.

One of the terrorist leaders stored weapons in the home of his four wives and many children - now do you know which one, or still need links.

I dont think the tags are appropriate.

aw, shame! :(

we don't think that indiscriminate rocket attacks on civilian population centers are appropriate either.... but you don't see us whining and crying about it.

I think I will take the advice of a member who Pm'd me now.
There's no point in debating with sick people who get pleasure out of the deaths of children and woman.

Have fun Gary and Frankie.

Even when rockets are not being fired from Gaza, Israel has no problem killing civilians...
The soldier in the watchtower radioed his colleagues after he saw Iman: "It's a little girl. She's running defensively eastward."

Operations room: "Are we talking about a girl under the age of 10?"

Watchtower: "A girl of about 10, she's behind the embankment, scared to death."

A few minutes later, Iman is shot in the leg from one of the army posts.

The watchtower: "I think that one of the positions took her out."

The company commander then moves in as Iman lies wounded and helpless.

Captain R: "I and another soldier ... are going in a little nearer, forward, to confirm the kill ... Receive a situation report. We fired and killed her ... I also confirmed the kill. Over."

Witnesses described how the captain shot Iman twice in the head, walked away, turned back and fired a stream of bullets into her body. Doctors at Rafah's hospital said she had been shot at least 17 times.

On the tape, the company commander then "clarifies" why he killed Iman: "This is commander. Anything that's mobile, that moves in the zone, even if it's a three-year-old, needs to be killed. Over."
...2004, before gaza rockets.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

An extremist Islamic cleric based in Britain said yesterday that he would support hostage-taking at British schools if carried out by terrorists with a just cause."

Hmm...an extremist, we all know how reasonable and level headed they are:rolleyes:

That would be the same as me saying that MyBB members are sick bastards who are enjoying the killing taking place in the Gaza when clearly its just you and gary, and a few others.

Yes extremist, of the same ideology as Hamarse.

Only enjoy the killing of terrorists who are motivated by an ideology that is hell bent on the destruction of Israel and world domination, by violent means.

Edit:
BTW, I thought you'd departed.
