Dros will be held liable due to negligence in not taking precautions that their patron or their children are safe at all times and also if the note was on their play area and it indeed said only the parent can remove the child or a staff member must accompany the child then they are grossly negligent. What in turn will happen is the restaurant will be sued for damages and future counselling and rehabiliation fees for the child. Also for all medical fees.

The aim of this would set a precedent that would aim to prevent future issues like these not repeating themself.

You may think this is hogwash as to how can it be so. But neglicence can be due to a variety of issues and it mainly aims to prevent things from repeating themself. Law would then be introduced under health and safety thus requiring changes going forward.
