Geez, why not just get it over with? He is going down for this no matter what, just take a lower sentence and get this out the way. Its not going to get better for him.

People are not going to forget this guy.
 
Du Plessis is now talking about the accused's injuries, saying that not all the injuries were noted or that further injuries were sustained after arrest.

#Drosrapist the accused has now alleged that he was assaulted by police at the Silverton police station. Du Plessis says the accused was forced to do push ups and then kicked by police officers, as well as hit with open hands and belts

Despite a court order to photograph the accused after court, he is removed from court before the magistrate even left. The case has been postponed to November 1. The accused has still not pleaded.

The state is gathering more evidence. I would say logically speaking, his lawyer is doing the right thing for his client. They don't know how badly SAPS will screw up the evidence process.

IMO the state should have asked him to plead. He got caught at the scene during the act of disposing the evidence with such overwhelming evidence against him and so many witnesses yet the state doesn't want to charge him yet.

The 2 months gives him time to concoct some insanity defense. In the meantime because he hasn't pleaded, black people will call it biased that he can't be named by saying the justice system favours white people. our justice system is a joke really. No wonder so few cases get prosecuted.

On the contrary. it will be used to further agendas to generalize and stigmatize.

Example.
Black First Land First (BLF) takes the sexual assault of a 6 year old black child by the racist settler colonizer Nicholas Ninow as a crime against the humanity and dignity of the innocent child and in addition all black children. Therefore this was an act of war against all black people.

BLF is appalled by the impunity enjoyed by settler colonizers in this country. Thousands of black women, men and children have been subjected to sexual violence at the hands of white men and women without concequences. Every single one of these violations are acts of warfare, racist deliberate attempts to weaken and kill the black collective and are often rewarded by the media, the government and the law with protection.

The justice system at its core is not a joke. There are two reasons why so few cases get prosecuted:
1) The NPA and SAPS are incompetent at doing their job because of corruption.
2) The system is swamped, which means that justice takes its time.

One can argue any system at its core is just. One cannot assume if the original intention was noble that it is a good system. For example if South Africa has the strictest sentences against rape in the world with life sentence being given for it, then how come South Africa has close to the highest number of rapes per 100K people in the world, if not the highest. The problem points to not just justice taking time but rather something fundamentally being broken.

That is not the fault of the justice system. You can have the best court system in the world, if the police, who are tasked with catching the perps are incompetent or overwhelmed(like they are in the Western Cape because of political meddling) , there is nothing the courts can do.

You only decrease the amount of rape (or any crime) when people know the police will catch you.
 
So sad that the scum poiltical organisations have hijacked this to push their racist agendas.

It is also incredibly difficult to prosecute sexual assault crimes. Our courts are required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that an assault took place. In many instances, they are really just a "he said she said" situation. It is not possible to prosecute these types of cases.

In this case and most cases if the women/girl gets to a doctor fast enough there will be enough physical evidence.
