Its now under 24 hours till the day when the new GTX 680 will be released. Bear in mind that these cards will be "reference cards" and not overclocked cards (Not made by board partners : ASUS, MSI etc.), you will have to wait just a bit longer for that
.
One of the most interesting rumours is that the GK104 based GTX 680 might not be the fastest of the Kepler series, but a possible GK110 based card would be, this however might force a GeForce GTX 700 series label. Don't expect this "supposed" card to come out anytime before August this year. As always take this with a pinch of salt.

The suggested retail price for the GTX 680 has been quoted for $499.99, : http://www.fudzilla.com/home/item/26437-nvidia-gtx-680-price-now-set-at-us-$499
Less than the $549.99 needed for a 7970. If leaked benchmarks are true which show an average 15% performance gain over the 7970, Nvidia will, for once, beat AMD's price/performance ratio.
