The official Battlefield 4 thread

New update goes live tomorrow! Main fixes are crashes, network sync errors (being shot behind walls) and the network smoothing option has seen some tweaks.

Had no power two nights in a row now - "World Class African City" much?:confused:

Can't wait to play tonight though - hoping the power holds :erm:

Has anyone made use of the network smoothing option? Was not even aware of the function lol :D

Mine is set to flat out zero. Having had any problems so far, so I don't think the updates to that function will affect me :/

Played on shanghai last night. Went on a mission to bring the tower down while my mate was on this massive spree...

Forgot completely about so.Rome mentioning that bringing the tower down crashes the game. My friend wasn't amused :p

I seem to remember 9am and 1pm UTC time. This corrolates to 11 am or 3 pm. Not sure which it was
 
30min to go so will see what happens

really hope some of the most major stuff gets fixed

really want to play again, but not at the current state the game is in
 
I've been playing on Xbox360 whilst I build my PC (and wait for the bugs to be fixed :) ) and I've seen there are quite a few people who have had their console freeze. I had played for about 10 hours without a single freeze, and then last night, in all my wisdom I decided to activate one of the battlepack boosts. Freeze x3 already. :(
 
The disconnects & crashes are annoying but it certainly isn't enough to keep me away from the game... Had a proper long session last night with a few old school BF2 guys and it was fun as hell :D


Only got one freeze when loading a new map, just got stuck at a black screen.
