The official Battlefield 4 thread

Still no platoon ppl!!! Whos doing the mybb platoon ... im only on weekends so wont be able to manage this
 
So I have recently hit rank 111.

Unlocked both the AR160 (which is a beast at close to medium and has extremely manageable recoil) and the SW40 (shoots quicker than the REX and downs players in 2-3 hits depending on where they're hit.

Battlelog doesn't display my level and probably won't until Naval Strike is released.

It's been upped to 120 for Naval Strike. It'll probably max at 150 once all expansions are out.
 
What ports does battlefield 4 use?

I would like to create a rule in my router to prioritize it's ports, to try and help prevent lag if at all possible if somebody starts loading a youtube video, etc.
 
Did you guys notice that on Origin.com there is BF4 shortcut kits available.

If you go anywhere else, they are not viewable like (Franchise, Battlefield)
 
Hey guys which expansion would you say is better / has more active players, maps? second assault or naval strike?

I already have china rising but don't have enough cash to get both of the latest ones

Same here. At one point on saturday there were 3 players banned in a row :wtf:

I don't think I'll ever understand the point of hacking, it's so much more rewarding if you win based on your own skill

Naval Strike is the better one in my opinion by a mile but unfortunately not as many servers in SA as Second Assault.

I am in the same boat, noval strike seems like the better option
 
So, liek, I bought BF4 + Premium. Do people actually play on the DLC servers this time around or did I waste my money? I remember in BF3 the DLC servers were mostly empty.

Definitely not Naval Strike.
I think China rising and the other one a bit. Just go international.
 
It's really ****ing terrible how broken the server browser still is. Not only does it not work when you sort by number of players, but half the servers don't always show. Refresh the server list and the 62 player Mweb server shows up, but not the 40 player BMW server. Refresh it again and now you can see the 40 player BMW server, but none of the Mweb servers.

I wonder if EA is ever going to fix this ****.

Scroll down... wait... then keep scrolling.. then re-order by players.
