That doesn't sound right. I literally just finished setting up my new one, and the default ip 88.1 as per normal, and admin <blank>
 
And the results for FQ Codel
83M/63M - This was previously the best settings for best results, but I will play around a bit :)

So everything seems to be working, except for remotely connecting to the router, while connected to ExpressVPN. It works fine using DDNS when normally connected, but refuses to connect via ExpressVPN. I need to use it through ExpressVPN as company network won't allow the direct connection.
Any ideas where to start looking (assuming it is a port or MAC thing)
Additonal, just checked from my phone on RAIN, no ExpressVPN, it doesn't connect

Never mind, got it sorted. All connections not from LAN was being dropped by default

I have recently discovered how good a Mikrotik router can be and would like to give it a shot. ;)
I already have Winbox and logged into the router and got the internet working on my Openserve fibre but, can anyone link / share me to a prober guide on how to set up the router and apply the correct firewalls, port forward etc or any other tips?:). Furthermore, I have this Mikrotik.

He made the most convoluted ROS processes so easy to understand. Loved his work when i had a Tik as my main router.
 
So with the new hAP ac², I upgraded my Fibre line from 100/100 to 200/200, however the negotiated speed on the WAN port is still on 100Mbps. Did I miss a setting somewhere? I have noticed some of the other ports are 1Gbps, some are 100Mbps) - cable related maybe?

Usually cable
Had the same,contacted support,they told me check the cable - was a 100Mbps cable :ROFL:

Cables seem fine ... but there is no conduit from one of the termination points on the ground floor to the 1st floor ... and this is where my issue is going to be, and having to fall back to Powerline adapters :(
