The Official Nintendo DS Thread

Guess who finally got a ds lite!? I bought it yesterday from someone who had a add on gumtree. R900 and it was in my pocket! Got it boxed and everything, and a gba game, harvest moon. Now i just need some nds games and a m3 or whatever. Oh an is there nothing you can do with a ds lite without any games?
 
If there were more around, you could send people in your vicinity stupid pics you've drawn. But on the whole, not really. Get a R4 or M3 or whatever as a priority. Loads of sometimes good, lots of bad, and some just plain interesting homebrew... and games if you're into illegal badness. Shock.

It's not retailed in SA. There is this guy in Crown Mines but he ha it for R1000.
Buy it from Hong Kong. It cost me R650, shipped.
Just be careful where you buy it from or it'll never reach you.

By the way I'm selling my DS with the R4 and 1Gb micro and over 60 games. PM me if you're interested.
 
DS Games pricing!

I'll start by saying, it looks as if the DS is actually gonna do good this time round. But here's the bad part... As if the DS being sold for R1800 isn't bad enough they wanna charge more that the psp games for the DS games! Whats this? They gonna force me into getting a flash card and download games... New super mario bros for R450! Come on! Btw does anybody know of a good place where i can get a r4 or m3? Not for piracy purposes, i hear you can view videos, music or documents on it...

hey zerosplice where exactly do the sell these flashcards in crown mines id rather buy it for a 1000 bucks than wait for months.toys r us and reggies games are a ripoff

Take the roodepoort off ramp going to mayfair. Keep straight until you get church street on your right at a 4 way robot. Take church and then your second left. Keep going till you see for just under 1 km. It will be opposite the Zenex fuel station.
 
i bought an r4ds from the uk about a year ago, i bought a 4gb micro sdhc card two months ago (had a 1gb micro sd card all along, wasnt enough for me :D) and it doesnt work with the r4ds (r4ds doesnt support sdhc), so i bought a dstt from hong kong which arrived this week, and now i have a spare r4ds. i'll sell it for R200, anyone interested? pm me...
 
hmmm, i wouldnt mind taking it off your hands :P if i can find a micro sd that can get plonked in there

Ah come on iDol don't be greedy. Where did you buy yours? I need a flash card... Need need! Anybody else that wanna sell one? Or know of places where i can get?
 
Fire Dragon , there's a hobby shop at the v&a waterfront, called them on tuesday and demanded they sell me one. I took their banking details and paid the R650.00 to them which is for the card plus packaging. The card arrived yesterday , but I haven't collected it as yet.
