The Official Nintendo DS Thread

Has anyoen played Advance wars DS and tried that thing where you ahve both the DS and Adance Wars cart in at the same time. Apparently if you ahve the DS cart and the Advance wars 2 cart (i think, maybe works with both) in at the same time then it unlocks stuff!! Anyone tried, confirmed?

@Natas , you can also unlock stuff with castlavania DOS , by inserting the Aria of Sorrow GBA cart :P

I'm having so much fun with Elite Beat Agents.

The gameplay is addictive and the stories are so crazy and funny! Genius.
 
You will pay shipping, VAT, processing fee and possibly duties. For duties phone SARS and select customs. Tell them what you are importing and they will tell you the duties. If you use a courier the customs processing fee will be more than if you use ordinary mail - I usually pay DHL R60 for processing; usually R12 if it comes via ordinary mail. Courier is more expensive, but fast and you know where your package's location. From the US packages sent on a Tuesday are normally here by Friday; ordinary mail takes 3-4 weeks.
 
How could I, I do not work for customs. Sometimes you have to use the telephone and a calculator.
 
I am so happy i paid the full price when it came out here and not have to go through this now ^_^
 
No, but I want it! How is it? Am I right in saying it's like a sprite-based Super Smash Bros. type game that features Shonen Jump characters (like Naruto and Goku) ???

I am under the impression there is no expectant release out of Japan...

I dont really like importing or reading japanese ^_^ (although i want to do both... -_-')
 
well yes it's like smash bros but 2d , but ofcourse i luv smash bros X 9999999 times more.
But yes the japanese is a stumble block. But not that much, it's just takes long for me to read anyway...
There are a lot of characters like 500+ and the animations are really nice and smooth, there is even WIFI play.

my only gripe is that the actions are not as smoothly executed as smash..i mean you land and the pause inbetween a new action is a bit slower ect.
 
I hope it gets an English release. Did you guys see that Sonic Rush 2 was announced!? There are screenshots on www.dsfanboy.com.

Can't wait for this one!

Not long until Pokemon Diamond/Pearl is released! Take 2 should have it by this coming Monday (23 April). Anyone else picking this game up ?
