Yip and the shorts we have here are either very expensive, or ugly as hell.

For gym i like 5 inch shorts with pockets and i'll run in 5 inch shorts with no pockets (if i have to) but like size large 5 inch is so difficult to find but 7 inch... Tons and tons of options but i hate 7 inch shorts

Recently got myself the ASICS GT-2000 15's Size 12's (usually go for a 13). I'm not really a runner unless a skelm or dog is chasing me. But man these shoes are so comfy and bonus that I can take a comfortable jog as well. I am wearing them as my daily shoe now. Too bad running shoes are not really pretty shoes. They are so bouncy. No more sore heels for me. I'm also fairly flat footed and these seem to work well for that. For context I am a fairly tall and naturally handsome guy. So most shoes hurt me.

Yip, I need a nice pair of running shorts with small pockets for gels and that's hard to find locally. I have 1 pair I got from Total Sports, but they don't look very nice. Decathlon had, but they were 7" I don't see it there anymore.

I also did a 6km run yesterday after a week off (I was lazy after my half marathon lol). Felt good. Will do an easy run tomorrow morning.

Running in the afternoon is not fun. Low energy and it's usually still quite hot.

I run mostly with compression shorts and i picked up 4 pairs of about 5 inch compression shorts not too long ago (First Ascent Brand) on special for R150 each. They have this nice netting around the top to put your gels and that in.

I like them because they stay in place and prevent any form of rubbing or chaffing.

I struggle to find comfortable shorts since I fall in the bracket between a size M and L.

The UA Heatgear compression shorts are nice, but that's something you need to wear underneath normal shorts.

I’ve got a few pairs Salomon shakeout 2 in 1 shorts. It pains me to buy them but the quality is amazing and the compression shorts don’t get holes which I’ve experienced with Nike and NB.
