Altra experience flow marked down 50% today.
One of my favourite shoes in my rotation atm. Way more fun than the velocity nitro 3 but not as much as the velocity 4. It sits somewhere inbetween.

I would compare the midfoot to the deviate nitro. Comfortable Snug but not as snug as the VN3 and 4. The toebox is roomy. Weird roomy, but enjoyable.Your toes will experience freedom in the toebox like never before lol. The energy return is no where near the vn4 though. Also, the stability of the shoe is way superior to the vn3 and 4.How's the toebox and midfoot width?
For some reason my feet no longer like the VN4's narrow midfoot. Giving issues over the bridge of my foot

Interesting. Might have to add them to my possible purchase list.
Missed my run today. The wind was just way
I did my longest run in the Altra's Experience flow this morning - 31km. No blisters, no aches(Yet) legs are dead. Legs are more tired than usual. Had a hard time driving back home. Shifting gears was a challenge. Leg cramped up when I pushed down the clutch.Interesting. Might have to add them to my possible purchase list.

I'll be honest I have no idea.@Sinbad I gt the strava subscription to try it out. Give me some tips and tricks to get the most out of it if you can
No probs. I see some bastids in segments that need a whippingI'll be honest I have no idea.
Look in a run's screen for the option to show similar runs so you can see improvement etc over time.
That doesn't sound great. Leg cramps due to distance or shoes?I did my longest run in the Altra's Experience flow this morning - 31km. No blisters, no aches(Yet) legs are dead. Doubt it was the shoes. I think it's more due to an electrolyte imbalance. But to be fair, I did run sub 4 min km's for the most part. I will do another long run nextweek Saturday in these shoes. I really enjoy them. It seems I've found a great alternative to the puma's.That doesn't sound great. Leg cramps due to distance or shoes?
For a wonder I got up early this morning and did an 11km run. Garmin wanted me to do a 40min run due to bad sleep. I missed two days in a row so decided to go longer. A long run after two rest days sucks. The uphills were a bastard and I felt stiff and achy for the first half of the run. Turning back and going downhill I just cruised along.
Was concerned that my foot would act up again like it did after doing the same route in the past, but seems to be fine so far.

Glad your foot held up. If I take a few days off from running then a 5min kilometer feels like an all out sprintThat doesn't sound great. Leg cramps due to distance or shoes?

It's a scam. Aren't you supposed to feel stronger and better after a rest? I mean they all say your muscles need time to recover and rebuild stronger. And then everything sucks.Glad your foot held up. If I take a few days off from running then a 5min kilometer feels like an all out sprint![]()
It is! When I run less, I either feel like shite or get injured. Thats my excuse when people ask me why I run alot. It's a scam. Aren't you supposed to feel stronger and better after a rest? I mean they all say your muscles need time to recover and rebuild stronger. And then everything sucks.
