Pretty good, I manage to attack the 2nd 5K a lot better than the first. Maybe I need to warm up better.that's impressive, how do you feel towards the end?

Did the Knysna Forest half marathon. 2:18.
Enjoyed it. First half mostly hard gravel roads and the second part on tar/paving. Pretty big downhill at Simola. How was the course?
Sub 25 on Saturday's PR. Sub 30 on Sunday's TR.
Chuffed with my efforts.

It's something different. You go to Loerie Park in Knysna where taxi's pick you up and drop you of 1.5 km from the start. You have to walk the 1.5 km to the start through the woods. At the start, there's fires and free coffee, tea and biscuits. You are encouraged to take old blankets and clothing to keep warm and then leave them at the start for people in need.Very nice. Never done it myself but I hear that it's a brute. The marathon itself is supposedly ranked as one of the toughest in the country.
No, it's fine.eish the gravel must have been murder on your shoes and feet?
Naa I'm free to run again. But my own rule is to only start again once the last blue tone nail falls off.
It's nice to be lazy for a bit . But not for to long as starting again is hard .
