The official running thread™

5km@28:50 - the pooch ran with today so i had to hang around at the back then pass people like a mad man but he ran really well. I struggled more than he did xD walked twice to bring my heart rate down, spiked to 203 again

Diabetes runs in your family because nobody runs in your family.

Nice to get into the hills again but damn I'm buggered! Think I'm still feeling Comrades. A fall about 2km from the end didn't help matters either.

Very nice. Never done it myself but I hear that it's a brute. The marathon itself is supposedly ranked as one of the toughest in the country.
It's something different. You go to Loerie Park in Knysna where taxi's pick you up and drop you of 1.5 km from the start. You have to walk the 1.5 km to the start through the woods. At the start, there's fires and free coffee, tea and biscuits. You are encouraged to take old blankets and clothing to keep warm and then leave them at the start for people in need.

Naa I'm free to run again. But my own rule is to only start again once the last blue tone nail falls off.

It's nice to be lazy for a bit . But not for to long as starting again is hard .
